Matematyka...o niej mówi Tengo w rozmowie z Fuka -Eri
" What do I like about math?"
" Math is like water.....
It has a lot of difficult theories, of course, but its basic logic is very simple. Just as water flows from high to low over the shortest possible distance, figures can only flow in one direction.
You just have to keep your eye on them for the route to reveal itself. That's all it takes. You do not have to do a thing.Just concentrate your attention and keep your eyes open, and the figures make everything clear to you. In this whole, wide world, the only thing that treats me so kindly is math..."

Pewno ten cytat zainteresuje Sikuta;-), którego z tego miejsca pozdrawiam, nawiązując do jego dyskusji o MATH. ( w Anglii).

Books flowed in and out of the house in tides.....
" As a child they had teased her. Alice has a block against books. She was a late reader, not something to be overlooked in that bookish house. Her parents, particularly her mother, all the visitors, everyone she ever met, had read everything. They never stopped reading. Books flowed in and out of the house in tides. They breed on the shelves, her parents, and then her brother, happily joked. But Alice was cherishing her block. It was a world she could choose not to enter. One might politely refuse. She persisted, polite but firm, secretely tasting the power she possessed to disquiet her parents. ....I am only interested in facts.... a minimum number of books was to be read."

like a needle piercing straight through my ego
" Her photographs strip poetry bare...
Here we are choosing our words,
braiding strands to cut a figure.
But with her photos it is immediate,
the embodiment.
Out of thin air, out of light,
in the gap between the moments,
she graps things just like that.
She gives physical presence
to the depths of human psyche."

some kind of mutual understanding....
" But your problems are not going to continue for the rest of your life, I said, touching her back. They will end eventually. And when they do, we will stop and think about how to go on from there. Maybe you will have to help me. We are not running our lives according to some account book. If you need me, use me. Do not you see? Why do you have to be so rigid?Relax, let down your guard. You are all tensed up so you always expect the worst. Relax your body, and the rest of you will lighten up."
" That is something the two of you will have to decide for yourselves. ....Whatever happened, the two of you can turn it in the right direction- if you can reach some kind of mutual understanding...So there is no problem. Stay in our place and we can have some nice, long talks. That would be the best thing. Then we can really understand each other. And I can play the guitar for you. I am pretty good, you know...."

everlasting wishes
" One wish is for you to realize how grateful I am that you came to see me here.
I hope you will understand how happy you have made me. I know it is going to save me
if anything will. I may not show it, but it is true.
- I will come to see you again. - I said. And what is the other wish?
- I want you always to remember me. Will you remember that I existed, and that I stood next to you here like this?
- Always- I said. I will always remember.
...Do you really promise never to forget me? she asked in a near whisper.
- I will never forget you- I said- I could never forget you."

swimming- la natacion
" As had happened last time, I was unable to achieve the mental concentration I wanted.
All kinds of thoughts came crowding in, blocking the way. To get rid of them, I tried thinking about the pool-the twenty-five- metre indoor pool where I went for exercise. I imagined myself doing laps of crawl there. I am not aiming for speed, just using a quiet, steady stroke, over and over again. I bring my elbows out with a minimum of noise and splashing, then stroke gently, fingers first. I take water into my mouth and let it out slowly, as if breathing underwater. After a while, I feel my body flowing naturally through the water, as if riding on a soft wind. The only sound reaching my ears is that of my own regular breathing. I'm floating on the wind like a bird in the sky, looking down at the earth below. I see distant towns and tiny people and flowing rivers.
A sense of calm envelops me, a feeling close to rapture.
Swimming is one of the best things in my life. It has never solved any problems, but it has done no harm, and nothing has ever ruined it for me. Swimming."
I found the same type of feeling whilst swimming myself thus this quotation here;-)

fate as a fatal disease...
" Fate itself was the doctor's own fatal disease. From his youngest days, he had had a lucid awareness that " I, as an individual, am living under the control of some outside force." This may have been owing to the vivid blue mark on his right cheek. When a child, he had hated this mark, this imprint that only he, and no one else, had to bear upon his flesh. He wanted to die whenever the other children taunted him or strangers stared at him. If only he could have cut away that part of his body with a knife! But as he matured, he came to a quiet acceptance of the mark on his face that would never go away. And this may have been a factor that helped form his attitude of resignation in all matters having to do with fate."

A violent stab of loneliness
" I worked at concentrating my attention on the real and useful. I would go to the pool almost every day for a long swim, take walks, make myself three meals.
But even so, every now and then I would feel a violent stab of loneliness. The very water I drank, the very air I breathed, would feel like long, sharp needles.
The pages of a book in my hands would take on the threatening metallic gleam of razor blades. I could hear the roots of loneliness creeping through me when the world was hushed at 4 o'clock in the morning."

NOISE- RUMOUR- conclusion by myself
Every day the Master was flooded by the questions,
which he answered seriously, playfully, courteously and wilfully.
One of the students sat as always in a complete silence during each of the meeting.
Asked about it, she answered:
- " it is difficult for me to hear even the single word spoken by him.
I am too disoriented because of his silence"
You will never be real on the Earth, when you will be asleep on the Earth.
Those who sleep on the Earth, would never fall from the skies.
which he answered seriously, playfully, courteously and wilfully.

Spiritual happiness through the temple and the books..like loosing the toys of life.
Do not do anything and all will be done through you
so as to do nothing you need to do a lot. Try!
You are not suffering when sitting in silence and in seclusion.
My house is the universe.
Gdy odczuwasz wine, nienawidzisz siebie samego.
Learning is when you are learning something yourself.
Do not search for the truth unless you want to have never ending readiness to suppose you may be wrong.
You are not to step in the realm of somebody's elses lamp ,
You need to walk in the shadow of your own.
Happiness is the awareness that when you have lost everything
you have lost only a toy.
YOU MAY READ BOOKS EVEN IF YOUR FOOT HAS NEVER STEPPED IN THE LIBRARY AND YOU MAY BECOME SPIRITUAL NEVER ENTERING THE TEMPLE.

All the treasures of our friendship...
Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure.
Chi trova un amico, trova un tesoro.
Quien tiene un amigo, tiene un tesoro.
Wer einen treuen Freund findet, findet einen wahren Schatz.
Celui qui trouve un ami loyal trouve un tresor.
As one Jewish saying claims.....
